16:08 hours Box 2332 was transmitted for the 400 block of Greenleaf Street on a house fire. Engines 6, 4, 9, Truck 2 and BC 4 (M. Scheirer) respond. Truck 2 arrives and transmits a second alarm for heavy fire to the rear of a 2-1/2 story E/O/R - 430 Greenleaf. 2 lines are stretched into the original fire building. With heavy fire consuming the rear and spreading to exposure 2 and the next exposure, BC 4 transmits the 3rd alarm. Crews stretch 2 lines into 428 and 1 line into 426 and stop the fire there. With fire in the attic areas of two homes, BC 4 special-calls one additional engine on top of the 3rd alarm. 2nd alarm: Engines 10, 14 and Air 1. 3rd alarm: Ladder 1. Special-Call Engine 11.
